How to Fix Upside Down or Sideways Monitor Display

It may often happen that you have pressed some keys combination on the keyboard and the monitor display turns upside down or sideways. If you have no idea on how to fix it, you can rectify the display by following some steps or call an online PC repair service for assistance.

• Step 1: On the keyboard press the keys Control + Alt + Up arrow key. This is quite a common rotation key configuration and might solve the issue.

• Step 2: Find out if there is a graphics card icon in the Notification area near the Windows clock. If you can find it, right-click on the icon and you will get a “Rotation Settings” option. This option will enable you to get the normal display

• Step 3: Right click on your desktop and then click on Properties. Then open the “Display Properties” window.

• Step 4: Click on the Settings tab and then click the “Advanced” tab for gaining access to the monitor settings window.

• Step 5: Make the changes on the Rotation settings by selecting the 0 degrees or “normal” option and get the display upright.

• Step 6: Finally click OK for saving the changes and then exiting out of the open properties windows.
